Trophy Wife Shrimp: Lob-Carb Meal


Dearest Trophy:
Here is a quick easy low-carb meal that will satisfy your taste buds and will make your dining table look oh so trophy. Serve with a large leafy salad with citrus dressing.  -love Diva








 4 cloves garlic, minced
 1/3 cup olive oil
 1/4 cup marinara sauce
 3 tablespoons red wine vinegar
 2 tablespoons Italian seasonings
 1/4 teaspoon salt
 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
 2 pounds fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
How TO:  
In a large bowl, stir together the garlic, olive oil, marinara sauce, and red wine vinegar. Season with italian seasoning, salt, and cayenne pepper. Add shrimp to the bowl, and stir until evenly coated. Cover, and refrigerate for 1-3 hours, stirring twice.
       Preheat grill for medium heat. Thread shrimp onto skewers, piercing once near the tail and once     near the head. Throwaway marinade.
       Lightly oil grill grate. Cook shrimp on preheated grill for 2 to 3 minutes per side, or until opaque. Enjoy this delicious low carb easy meal.
*Alternate - after marinating shrimp place them in a bowl filled with 3 cups of vegetable or chicken broth and 1tsp of seasoning salt (ex. old bay or lawrys) and boil until shrimp is done (opaque/white) about 6 minutes from boiling point.
